Oh yes, my mailbox has been getting filled up again with all of these great samples!

This includes free address labels, bumper stickers, energy drops, lotions, shampoos, and more. This does not include the pile of free magazines I have!

Here are some of the freebies I've received lately. Freebies and samples seem to be very abundant lately. I like it! I mean, who doesn't like to get free stuff?? yay!!!

I've still been entering giveaways and sweepstakes. I actually won something from a blog giveaway and I'm excited about it! I won a butterfly house! You know, the ones where you watch the butterflies grow from larvae to a full grown butterfly? I've seen these advertised on TV and thought it looked neat but not something I would spend money on... now I don't have to spend money on it. I can't wait to get it.. I haven't told my kids about it yet, they will be excited, too!!

Freebies and Sweepstakes Mar '12

I know, I'm really late posting this for the month of March but I've been going through a lot lately and just haven't gotten around to it. Samples/freebies have been kind of slow lately, but I've signed up for a crap load of new ones in the past week or so, so hopefully I'll be getting more soon. I love getting freebies! Even though you are not actually earning money from it, it still saves you money in the long run. For instance, (I forgot to include this in the photo) but the other day I received a coupon for a free new Suave Karotin shampoo.. Just happened that I was out of shampoo and needed to go buy some but I ended up with a free bottle! Woohoo!! Here are a few freebies I've gotten in the mail:

I usually don't review products that I receive samples of (unless they are sent specifically for a review) but I just wanted to share one of the freebies.

I have problems sleeping some times. Some nights it takes me forever to fall asleep, other times I fall asleep quickly but am awake various times throughout the night and then feel exhausted in the morning. The doctor has me on 3mgs of Melatonin which helps a lot. I couldn't wait to try out this iChill relaxation drink/shot, whatever you want to call it. It contains some relaxation herbs along with 5 mgs of Melatonin. I knew it would help me sleep just because of the 5mgs of Melatonin!

When I was a kid, I remember my grandmother always wearing this sweet smelling perfume. Well, if I had ever taken a drink of that perfume, that is exactly what this tastes like. Seriously. I couldn't even finish that whole tiny little bottle. Blech. It's a good idea but they definitely need to work on the taste.

I haven't done much sweepstaking for awhile, until today, that is... so I haven't had any wins (and still waiting on one of the wins I supposedly won last month). Here are a few good ones that I entered today though.

Sweeping/Samples Update for January

A new month is upon us already, where does the time go? January seemed to be a bit slow as far as samples went. I got a few, but not enough to even bother taking a photo of. It included some lotion samples, acne medicine samples, a Progressive sticker (I love Flo!), and a few other things.

Sweepstakeing was a little better in January. I won a workout video from Kelly Coffee-Meyer which is perfect timing because I'm trying to get healthier and work out a few times through the week and this video is more for beginners, so it's perfect for me. I got an email saying that I won some free Maybelline products and a year subscription to Better Homes and Gardens. I'm still waiting to receive both of those though.

Anyone have any luck in January? I don't enter every day like I should, but I do it when I have some free time. The Facebook app is so easy to use, I can do it while I watch TV in the evening during some relaxation time. My kids just seem to think that it's AMAZING that I get free stuff just for filling out a few things online. They don't realize how many hundreds of sweepstakes I have entered compared to the few that I have won. I couldn't imagine what they would think if I won something huge like a trip or a car! ha!
