Some Great Resources for Freelancers

I've found some great websites that are specifically here to help you find freelancing work whether it be article writing, editing, proofreading, ghost writing, customer service, graphic designing, or virtual assistants. No matter what sort of online work you are looking for, these websites may be able to help you in your quest for work!

Rat Race Rebellion - This website has work at home jobs for almost anyone! Some of their job listings include: accountants, bloggers, mystery shoppers, medical transcriptionists, call centers, courthouse researchers, and more.

Freelance Writing Gigs - This is for the writers out there. Each day, they post listings of various job leads for journalists, bloggers, article writers, and proofreaders. The majority of the job leads are found on Craigslist but are for anyone wanting to work from home.

Fancy Hands - This is a job listing for virtual assistants. Jobs are posted and it may be something as simple as setting up reservations for someone or researching a product online. It's typically some very simple tasks that busy people just don't have time to do.

Remember, even when websites say that the job leads are legit, you should always make sure that you protect yourself. Always get prices and terms in writing and keep copies of your emails just in case you need them to prove that an agreement was made. Trust your instincts and research the company if you have to.  Don't accept any job that you are not comfortable with or that you feel does not pay enough. It is your time and your hard work at stake, make it worth it and make it count!

AnswerGem: Get Paid For Your Expertise

Do you have any type of expertise? Maybe you are an expert in electronics or perhaps a specific type of animal? Car repairs? Real estate? Medical advice? If you consider yourself to be an expert in any sort of niche topic, answergem may be a good match for you.

How It Works: People post a question with a reward or value amount of money they are willing to pay for an answer. Only experts on this subject are allowed to answer. If the person thinks that you answered their question well, you get paid!

First, you have to take a test to ensure that you are indeed an expert in your chosen topic. The questions can be difficult, but if I had any problems, I was able to do a basic search on google to find the answer. I am currently an expert on dog care and general. They send you email alerts letting you know when a new question has been posted in your area of expertise. The bad part is that sometimes you have to answer it before another expert does. You can choose to be an expert in a variety of topics as long as you can pass the tests.

You can request payout when your account has at least $20 in it and they pay via paypal.

**When you sign up, make sure you sign up as an EXPERT and not a customer. There can be a little confusion when you first sign up!

Sidetick: Getting Paid to be Social

I've recently run across Sidetick. It is a social network that pays. You earn points for doing various things such as responding to a blog, opening messages sent to you, or getting visitors to your page, that you can then trade in for cash. I have already earned around $5 from it and have only spent a few minutes a day on it. I have seen proof of payment from other people, so this is legit. Once you reach $25, you can request payout via paypal.  You can also earn points by getting new people to join under you, and then from people they get to join..etc.. Most of you know how the pyramid scheme works. If you use my link to join, we will automatically be friends, so if you decide to join, be sure to let me know you came from my blog! It makes me feel good to now that someone reads this! haha! Apart from earning potential, you can also use sidetick to promote  your blog or website, so that makes it even better!

The Best of The Year...

Since the end of the year is approaching, I thought that maybe it would be nice to end it with a sort of “best of” of blog posts. This post will be a trip down memory lane as I go over some of my best posts of the year. I hope you enjoy and that you stick around to see what I have in store for 2011!

For the writers out there, I wrote a post back in April about eHow switching to Demand Studios and hubpages being the new eHow. I’m still writing for them and am enjoying it. They have made it easy to add amazon products and links to your articles. http://crazedmama.blogspot.com/2010/04/goodbye-ehow-hello-hubpages.html

Suite 101. This is a post about writing for Suite 101. So far, I am having some good luck with them and have made payout for the past few months. I’m sure with every article I add, I will also add to my earnings. http://crazedmama.blogspot.com/2010/05/suite101-for-writers.html

This is a post I wrote back in June on various ways to promote your articles, blogs, and websites. Lots of great marketing information here. http://crazedmama.blogspot.com/2010/06/promoting-your-articles-or-blog.html

For those of you who use Twitter, this post has information on ways that you can make money via your twitter account. These are legit ways that won’t just waste your time. http://crazedmama.blogspot.com/2010/10/making-money-with-twitter-is-it.html

This post from back in August gives information on how you can offer various services online to earn money. These are tried and true websites that you can really earn from.  http://crazedmama.blogspot.com/2010/08/offer-your-services-for-few-bux.html

For those of you looking to network with other freelancers, offer your services, or find new clients, this post gives you the lowdown on doing this. http://crazedmama.blogspot.com/2010/08/networking-with-potential.html

Offer Your Services for a Few Bux!

A few months ago, I posted about fiverr where you can earn $5 for various services of your choice. I have had some luck with fiverr so far. I've been paid to do a few reviews on this blog, and a few other gigs as well. They changed their policy so that there is no payout minimum and you can cash out whenever you like.

There are a few other websites like this that I've found. TenBux works the same as fivver, except that you can offer services for both $5 or $10. Their minimum amount is only $8 and you get paid via paypal. For every $5 gig you do, they take .50, and $1 for every $10 gig.

Buxerr works the same way as TenBux, and the minimum cash out amount is $4. They do take 20% of each gig.

GigMe5 lets you offer services for $5, $10, $20 and $50. You do have a 14 day wait for the funds to clear before you can withdraw them and there is a minimum of $30 before you can cash out.

If you think about it, you can post all kinds of services or "gigs" on each one of these websites. It certainly can't hurt and you just might make some money along the way!

Weegy: Get paid to answer questions!

Weegy is somewhat like ChaCha only a little different! Anyone can sign up to be a Weegy Expert! A Weegy expert is someone who answers people's "live" questions whether it be from your own knowledge or from researching the question online. You can earn points and money for answering fairly simple questions! If you are given a positive rating for your answer you earn 5 points. You can also read through other older questions that have already been asked and add your own two cents and earn points. There are quite a few ways to earn points and if you can become a great expert there are ways to be able to earn even MORE points! They also have contests for those that earn the most points each month where you can earn cash on top of what you have already made. The more points you earn the higher your name goes up on the "expert list" and then you have even more opportunities to earn cash!

I think Weegy is a great start for people who want to start earning some extra money from home. There is no hiring process to go through, you just sign up, read up on how to use the website and start answering questions! Easy!

Yuwie review..so far....

Ok, so I have been a member of Yuwie for a few months now. As I stated before, you get paid for every hit you get to your page..even if it is just to your blog or your pics..any page within YOUR site pays you! It wont happen FAST but I really think if you have the TIME to put into advertising it and posting in blogs consistently, it has some potential..my problem is like everything else, I just don't have the time to dedicate to it every day! My biggest money maker is my texting job so that is what I try to spend pretty much every spare second doing! (and a big reason why I don't post here very often anymore!).

The biggest and fastest way to earn money on yuwie is to get referrals!! It's just like a pyramid scheme. You get referrals and you earn a percentage of what they make. They get referrals and you get a percentage of what THEIR referrals make and so on and so on!! I've been using some traffic exchange sites to help and I have gotten a few referrals fairly easily! A lot of people post how they get their referrals and if you have the time to follow all of their tips and tricks I'm sure you can do decent here.. and apart from the money making, it's still lots of fun! It's just like myspace, really! Click the banner to find out for yourself!! I will post some tips for yuwie, soon!!

Don't hate me!

Ugh, for the few of you that read this blog, Im sorry for my absence! So much has gone on since I last posted in here. My husband had surgery, then got laid off for the winter. He has a 3rd shift job for the winter and I am trying to get back into a routine here, lol. I've been slowly looking for a part time job outside of the home but so far no luck. Sears told me I pretty much had a job there and that a manager would be calling me to give me the job offer and tell me when to start, but I havent heard from them since! GRRRRRR!!!!!!! Im going to try and post here more often, I promise! I'm so bored in the evenings with my husband gone so blogging is just what I need to keep myself occupied (apart from the kids, ofcourse)

Anyway, for all of you myspace fanatics, I have just come across a new networking site that pays you for page views! It's just like myspace where you make your own page, add friends, comment each other, blog..etc. However, with yuwie you get paid for every hit your page gets! Ofcourse you wont get rich off of it, but it's fun to do and everyone can use some extra spending cash, right? I've just started my page so if anyone wants to join me in this venture, just follow me here!! Once I get more familiar with it I will post more tips that I learn along the way!
